Jared Ravizza, of Chilmark, is charged with two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault with intent to murder and two counts of assault and battery after allegedly attacking two McDonald's workers on Saturday, May 25, the Plymouth County District Attorney said. More charges are expected.
Connecticut State Police on Tuesday said Ravizza was responsible for the fatal stabbing of 70-year-old Bruce Feldman in Deep River following an argument.
Connecticut police were called to the house on Maritone Lane after Ravizza allegedly threw a shovel through a neighbor's window before speeding away in his Porsche SUV. Troopers found Feldman's body inside with stab wounds to the head and torso, the Office of Chief Medical Examiner said.
The West Hartford man's dog was also found dead inside the home. Neighbors said Feldman had moved into the home about two weeks ago.
Massachusetts State Police said Ravizza then drove to an AMC Theater in Braintree, where he walked into a 6 p.m. showing of the movie "IF" without paying and attacked four girls — ages 9 to 17. They were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The mother of three of the victims told CBS Boston that Ravizza didn't say anything before or during the attack.
About an hour later, police received a 911 call about a stabbing of two McDonald's employees at a a Park and Ride on Route 3 in Plymouth.
The Bristol County District Attorney said Rivizza pulled up to the drive-thru and stabbed a 29-year-old man with a large knife. He then drove away before jumping out of his car, running into the restaurant, and stabbing a 21-year-old woman behind the counter.
The two were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Ravizza is alleged to have attacked a 21-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man there without provocation, Massachusetts State Police said. They were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Troopers spotted Ravizza's Porsche in Sandwich on Cape Cod shortly after and tried to pull him over, but he refused to stop. He crashed the SUV after a brief chase, and police took him into custody.
Ravizza was taken to a hospital for minor wounds. He was ordered held without bail after being released.
On Tuesday, a judge ruled that Ravizza be held at Bridgewater State Hospital for the next 20 days under psychiatric evaluation.
Jared Ravizza was accused in April of attacking his father Jason Ravizza, a therapist who specializes in working with teens and young adults suffering from ADHD and self-esteem issues, according to an online review site.
Jared was charged with assault and battery on a family or household member and vandalism following that incident in Martha's Vineyard, the Boston Globe reported.
Jared Ravizza grew up in Agawam. He is the founder of Ravizza Jones, a marketing firm that he claimed was working with companies in "Paris, London, Mumbai, and Milan," according to an interview with BeverlyHillsMagazine.com.
However, it's unclear how much of that is accurate as no proof of these deals can be found online.
Jared Ravizza also claimed to be a professional skier and online social media influencer. His Instagram account has more than 200,000 followers.
